Turquoise orb

18ct gold huge ball orb pendant with beautiful wirework decoration and recessed set turquoise stones.  European origin.  Looks like it may formerly have opened as there is a hinge but the pendant is now sealed closed (with secret possible treasures enclosed)?!

Overall length 45mm and width approximately 32mm.
