Lannah Dunn Fine Jewellery

Order Confirmation

Once an order has been placed through the Lannah Dunn Fine Jewellery website, an email confirmation will be issued within approximately 24 hours acknowledging receipt of the order.

This confirmation acknowledges receipt only and does not constitute acceptance of the order. Orders are considered accepted only once payment has been successfully processed and the item confirmed as available for dispatch or manufacture.

Lannah Dunn Fine Jewellery reserves the right to decline or cancel any order prior to dispatch.


Payment Processing

All orders are subject to payment authorisation and security verification prior to processing.

Accepted payment methods include major credit cards and approved digital payment providers. Afterpay is available for purchases up to $2,000.

Credit card transactions must be authorised by the issuing financial institution before an order can proceed. This normally occurs within approximately 24 hours, however processing times may vary depending on the financial institution.


Identity Verification & Fraud Prevention

To protect clients and the integrity of transactions, Lannah Dunn Fine Jewellery reserves the right to request identity verification for certain orders.

Where required, additional documentation may be requested to verify the purchaser’s identity and payment method. This may include confirmation of the payment method used and government-issued identification.

Requests for verification will be communicated by email and/or telephone.
Where verification is required, order processing may be delayed while documentation is received and reviewed, which may take several business days.

Orders that cannot be satisfactorily verified may be declined or cancelled.


Stock Availability & Manufacturing

Dispatch timeframes depend on stock availability, ring sizing requirements and the nature of the piece ordered.

In-stock items
Where the item is available and payment has cleared, orders are typically dispatched the next business day.

Made-to-order or sized items
Certain items require sizing, workshop preparation or manufacture within the Lannah Dunn expert jewellery workshop. In these circumstances clients will be contacted with an estimated completion timeframe.

Manufacturing timelines vary depending on the complexity of the piece and workshop scheduling.


Delivery & Shipping

Orders are dispatched via Australia Post Express Post with Signature on Delivery.

Shipping costs are typically from $25, with promotional free shipping occasionally offered online. Shipping charges are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Once an order has been lodged with Australia Post, clients will receive automated tracking notifications and delivery updates directly from Australia Post.

Delivery timeframes are determined by Australia Post and remain outside the control of Lannah Dunn Fine Jewellery.

All care and attention is taken to ensure parcels are securely packaged and lodged promptly. Clients are responsible for ensuring the delivery address provided at checkout is accurate and secure.

Once Australia Post records a parcel as delivered, delivery is deemed to have occurred under the terms of the transaction.


Requests for Delivery by a Specific Date

If a piece is required for a particular occasion (for example a wedding, anniversary or birthday), clients may include the requested date in the order comments section.

While every effort will be made to assist, specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed, particularly where manufacture, sizing or identity verification is required.

Clients are welcome to contact Lannah Dunn Fine Jewellery prior to purchase to discuss expected timelines.


Ring Sizing

Where a ring size is required, clients must select the appropriate size using the size selection menu on the product page prior to checkout.

Guidance is available in the Ring Sizing Guide on the website.

Incorrect sizing selections may require resizing after purchase and may involve additional time or cost depending on the design of the piece.


Returns & Exchanges

Online Purchases

The Lannah Dunn online store offers a 7-day conditional exchange from the date of purchase (or date of dispatch where applicable).

To request an exchange, clients must contact Lannah Dunn to obtain a return authorisation number and return instructions.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client.
Replacement items are shipped using Australia Post Express Post, with a $25 replacement shipping and handling charge applicable.

Replacement selections must be finalised within 7 days of the approved return request.

Credit notes are not available.  In store change of mind policy differs from online.


Items Ineligible for Return

Certain items are not eligible for exchange, including:

  • Engraved or personalised pieces

  • Made-to-order jewellery

  • Items customised and/ or Resized

  • Final Sale and Discounted items purchased from the Outlet section

  • For hygiene reasons, earrings are unable to be returned

Clients are encouraged to contact Lannah Dunn prior to purchase should they have any questions regarding a piece.


In-Store Purchases

For in-store purchases, Lannah Dunn offers a conditional exchange for gifts only, within 7 days of purchase, provided the item is returned:

  • To the original store of purchase

  • In original packaging

  • In unworn and as-sold condition

  • With the original receipt


Product Representation

Photography & Product Descriptions

Lannah Dunn Fine Jewellery takes great care in the presentation of all jewellery displayed online. Each piece is professionally photographed with meticulous attention to detail to represent the jewel as accurately as possible.

However, due to photographic lighting, screen display settings and device calibration, colours and tones may vary slightly between digital displays and the physical jewel.

Natural gemstones and antique jewellery may also display unique characteristics, including inclusions, tone variations and patina, which form part of their inherent beauty and individuality.


Design Disclosure & Intellectual Property

Certain technical or structural design elements of Lannah Dunn jewellery may not be fully disclosed in online descriptions. This is done deliberately to protect the intellectual property, craftsmanship and design legacy of the Lannah Dunn jewellery house.

All product photography, designs, text and content remain the intellectual property of Lannah Dunn Fine Jewelleryand may not be reproduced without permission.


Quality & Warranty

Lannah Dunn maintains stringent quality standards of precious materials and expert craftsmanship.

Modern jewellery pieces from the Lannah Dunn collections may be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Lannah Dunn within 12 months if a manufacturing defect is identified.

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Accidental damage

  • Lost stones

  • Wear and tear from normal use

  • Water, perfume or chemical damage

  • Damage caused by another jeweller

Jewellery altered or repaired by third parties may void warranty consideration.

Many antique and vintage pieces, as well as coloured stones and organic gems, may be fragile by nature and more suited to occasional or dress wear rather than daily wear.

Workshop inspection, maintenance and repair services remain available where required.
