15ct Georgian heart padlock bracelet with 'forget-me-not' engraved clasp. Beautiful worked gold, multi link bracelet. English origin. circa 1840. This was originally designed & made as a memorial piece with the original lock of hair on the inside of the glass locket-back of the 15ct gold padlock. This of course pre-dates photography and memorabilia and was the well recognised way to cherish the memory of a loved one, living or passed.
