A Decade of Giving: Lannah Dunn Celebrates Legacy Partnership with Blush Cancer Care
Against the backdrop of a glorious Autumn afternoon, more than 200 guests gathered to celebrate the tenth annual Blush Cancer Care High Tea — a cherished event that has become one of the Darling Downs' most anticipated charitable occasions.
This year's gathering carried particular significance, marking the announcement of Lannah Dunn Fine Jewellery as an Official Legacy Partner of Blush Cancer Care in recognition of more than a decade of unwavering support. Since Blush Cancer Care was founded, the generosity of the Lannah Dunn community has helped contribute more than $100,000 towards the charity's vital work supporting local women and families affected by breast cancer.

Hosted in an atmosphere of warmth, elegance and shared purpose, the sold-out event brought together an extraordinary collection of women from across the region, united by a commitment to supporting those navigating cancer.
Guests were privileged to hear from former Fairholme College Principal Linda Evans, whose thoughtful reflections resonated deeply with the audience. Her words served as a powerful reminder of the strength, resilience and compassion found within communities when individuals choose to support one another through life's greatest challenges.

Joining the conversation was respected international journalist Davina Smith, whose accomplished career has taken her from regional Queensland to some of the world's most significant news stories. Her insights offered a compelling perspective on courage, human connection and the importance of sharing stories that matter.

Adding further depth to the afternoon was esteemed medical practitioner Dr Sharyn Donaldson, founder of Blush and a much-admired member of one of Toowoomba's revered medical families. Speaking with characteristic grace and sincerity, Dr Donaldson reflected upon the profound impact Blush Cancer Care continues to have within the local community, providing practical support, comfort and dignity to countless women and families throughout their cancer journey.

While the afternoon celebrated a decade of partnership and achievement, its true focus remained firmly upon the women supported by Blush Cancer Care each and every day.
For Lannah Dunn, the event represented not only an opportunity to reflect upon ten years of giving, but also to reaffirm a commitment to the future. The newly announced Legacy Partnership ensures this important relationship will continue for generations to come, supporting an organisation whose work remains invaluable to the region.
More than a high tea, the afternoon served as a celebration of community, compassion and the enduring impact of collective generosity — values that have defined the relationship between Lannah Dunn and Blush Cancer Care since the charity's inception.
Lannah Dunn extends heartfelt thanks to Blush Cancer Care, the event organisers, guest speakers, attendees and supporters whose generosity continues to make an enduring difference.
