Diamond Ring Stack 'Essentials'

Diamond Ring Stack 'Essentials'

We hope that you are keeping well and positive during these uncertain times.

We are all too aware that our daily routines sometimes don't cater to painting our fingernails and cleaning, caring for; and adorning our jewellery! If this current forced slow-down during the home isolating of the COVID-19 pandemic has taught us anything, it is to stop and smell the roses and we have been smelling the roses, painting our nails, practicing safe social distancing and cleaning and enjoying our jewels! We also have been open by appointment with the in-store workshop in full operational swing, the latest jewellery collection being snapped up by adoring husbands, future husbands, partners and of course, to the ladies themselves. While one should never stop dating their wife, one should also never stop dating themselves! Self indulgence is sometimes required...

A very special collection in our modern range at Lannah Dunn Fine Jewellery is the diamond 'continuum collection'. First designed almost twenty years ago upon the opening of our Racecourse Road, Ascot boutique, the classic continuum diamond band was born. Appropriately named to represent continuous love; eternal love; an eternity; the continuous diamonds in the full circle eternity diamond band hug your finger in a forever pattern - it never stops, love never stops and these rings are the perfect representation of that.

Crafted in 18ct yellow, rose, white gold and platinum and available in full circle eternity and half circle (half band) eternity and set with rare-white round brilliant cut beautiful diamonds they have formed a keepsake for many LD devotees over the past twenty years. We specially designed them in the vintage/ art deco aesthetic to compliment antique diamond rings, antique jewellery, art deco jewellery through to the simplest of modern round brilliant cut solitaire engagement rings. Diamond eternity rings are no new concept with the earliest recorded eternity dating over 100 years ago. This particular collection is a modern day, practical, protected setting way of emanating that age-old, classic and sophisticated style.

We especially designed these rings with practicality and ease of wear in mind. They are easily able to be layered with other 'straight edge' bands of any style. They have made ever lasting wedding and anniversary diamond set stackable, layer rings for many of our LD wedding couples over the years and they have also been a precious gift for many girls' 16th, 18th, 21st and 30th birthdays. They're such a fabulous gift idea as they go with everything and sit beautifully on their own, but once you have one it's only natural to then have a pair, perhaps have three of different colours and in some cases a stack and layer of four and five rings. Versatility is key here and they allow the wearer to exhibit her own style and flair by pairing them with existing jewellery essentials.

To celebrate our tenth year in the Brisbane CBD in 2015, we designed the 10th Anniversary Collection to include the 'upsize' version of the classic continuum band. This style features prominently and has perhaps even surpassed the popularity and demand for the classic.  Almost confirms - bigger is better! While there is still definitely the desire for the classic collection, the 10th Anniversary range represents very good value, excellent finger cover and potentially, just, big enough! For our devotees who own part of the continuum collection, the near 1.0ct new 10th anniversary range are beautifully designed to layer together - new with old (or existing).

To cater to our lovers and devotees of 9ct gold, we have just now released the mini range in 9ct yellow, rose and white gold. These start at $799 and again, suit the existing high carat fine jewellery range, and also look fab styled on their own or as a tri-colour gold stack.

They mostly come in an average ring finger size but if you more prefer the Oprah Winfrey pinky diamond eternity ring stack, or have a particular size you require, we indeed can custom make these bands to perfectly fit you and retain a continuous pattern. Our in-store workshop and expert craftsmen are at the ready to create your perfect new continuum diamond band.

We hope you enjoyed reading about the history of the diamond continuum ring collection.

Take care of yourself,
The LD girls xx
